Specialist, ERP Configuration

JOB DESCRIPTION:

An ERP Configuration Specialist will work closely with production support and integration team on ERP projects and respond to various inquiries. In this role, you are required to have an understanding of customer’s data and business process as well as learning the functionality and configuration of ERP systems.

 The ability to read a Maintenance manual and translate to a Maintenix task definition through the front end.

 Candidate will lead the implementation team in large migrations or go-lives.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Customer support (by phone, email, in person)
  • JIRA/Tracking system entries and updates
  • Experience with Aerospace engineering data
  • Experience with Aerospace business processes
  • Experience configuring ERP solutions for aerospace companies
  • Quality check for transform processes of a developing team
  • Other duties may be added and/or assigned as needed
  • Document step by step instructions of problems worked on.
  • Some mild scripting experience would be helpful (SQL/Batch/ETC)

 

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Formal Education & Certifications

  • College diploma or university degree in the field of computer science, information systems, mathematics, engineering, or other related field is recommended but not necessary

Knowledge and Experience

  • 5 years+ experience working in aerospace, configuration management, or engine maintenance
  • Exposure on ITSM ticketing tools
  • Experience working in a 24/7 environment
  • Data analytics

  • Must be willing and able to pass a background investigation and drug screening
  • Must pass P&W Legal Check

WORK CONDITIONS:

  • 40-hour on-site work week
  • Some travel may be required
  • Sitting for extended periods of time
  • Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, power tools, and other computer components
